Jenkinsons – Proud to be the Official Caterer for Southport Flower Show

Jenkinsons is one of the country’s most respected independent catering businesses; food is our passion and our commitment to excellence is unwavering. We’re absolutely thrilled to be the Official Caterer for Southport Flower Show 2015.

Exceptional Event Catering

Jenkinsons have a proven track record for excellent catering at the Southport Flower Show, in fact we have been their official caterer since 1995 and we can’t wait to welcome this year’s guests to sample some of our sensational event catering at this prestigious event.

The organisers of Southport Flower Show know that we’re experienced and passionate about what we do; we’re reliable, competent, operationally superior and committed to serving great food with a smile.

We have a long history in event catering and have built a reputation for serving exceptional dishes conceived and cooked with love, featuring distinctive flavours, seductive combinations and the very finest ingredients.

Service with a A Smile

We hire our catering staff based on ‘attitude not skill’, we recognise that food served with enthusiasm and a winning smile will always taste better than a dish served with indifference.

Our Staff Development Program ensures that team members are regularly evaluated and enjoy ongoing training and support. We never underestimate the influence our people have on your customer’s overall enjoyment of the Southport Flower Show.

Gala Preview Dinner

We’re looking forward to serving guests a sensational meal at the Gala Preview Dinner, a fantastic and highly entertaining black tie event. We’re serving some amazing canapés at the champagne reception held in the Grand Floral Marquee at 7.30pm, which is then followed by a three course silver service dinner in the Gala Marquee.

The event catering organisers were amazing to work with and we were delighted with their positive feedback about our event catering.

“Many thanks for all the help and co-operation that you gave me during the planning for Saturday’s Fundraising Ball. It all went according to plan and believe it or not, we even stayed on schedule!

The Jenkinsons Catering Manager Theresa did a great job on the night, the tables looked fantastic and there was plenty of room to serve the very elegant dishes.

Thank you and your team for their hard work we haven’t had one single moan about the food – not even from me!!”

Charity Ball – Through The Looking Glass

Jenkinsons are thrilled to be the chosen caterers for Steelite International’s Teacup and Candlelight Charity Ball. Tickets are still available for this fabulous event being held on Friday 26th September 2014.

Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’ guests are cordially invited to tumble down the rabbit hole and enjoy a champagne reception followed by a sumptuous three course meal served on Steelite’s Award Winning Tableware. Their Torino collection has been chosen to showcase the main course; this fabulously retro range combines the best of both classic and modern design and we can’t wait to enhance the tableware with an exquisitely presented taste sensation.

The Charity Ball is being hosted at the Haywood Academy, one of Stoke-on-Trent’s leading high schools. The Academy’s motto is ‘Inspiring Creativity and Achievement’ which complements Steelite International’s commitment to support and encourage local youth aspirations and education.

For the second year running Steelite International have invited students from The Haywood Academy to complete work experience at their state of the art manufacturing facilities in Burslem, as part of the Industrial Cadets scheme which was inspired by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales. The scheme aims to raise awareness of local career opportunities in manufacturing and industry.

The charity ball aims to raise money for Steelite International’s ‘Giving Something Back’ community fund, helping to support more local initiatives and charities with much-needed funding. If you’d like to show your support, then CLICK HERE for more information on how to buy your tickets. Alternatively Steelite International are inviting local businesses to donate a prize for the raffle which will be held on the night.

We hope that you can make it to this incredible event. I’d love to share details of the fabulous menu we have planned but half the fun of fine dining is the anticipation so you’ll just have to wait and see!
