At Jenkinsons we operate a straightforward pricing policy so that you have a clear understanding of your wedding catering costs right from the start.  Our published prices are always ‘price per head’ and we try very hard to include as much as we possibly can for you within that price as detailed below:

Sensational Wedding Food

We enjoy long-standing relationships with some of the country’s best bakers, butchers, fish mongers and farmers; we source the best quality local produce wherever possible and enjoy challenging both our Executive Head Chef and our suppliers to keep our menus bursting with flavour, exciting and innovative.

We hope that you will be inspired by our fantastic and exclusive wedding breakfast menus available from your wedding venue and we would encourage you to ‘like’ us on Facebook where we regularly post some of our wedding breakfast dishes.

Online Menu Selector – Coming Soon

At Jenkinsons we are always updating our wedding menus.  Our talented team of chefs are creative and passionate about food, flavours, seasonality and presentation.  They never forget that your wedding menu is a huge part of your wedding day and is the first meal that you share together as a married couple.

We’ve just commissioned an online Menu Selector which will make it even easier for you to design your perfect wedding breakfast. We’ll let you know when it’s launched later this year.

Catering Manager

Included in your wedding catering costs, you’ll have a dedicated and experienced Catering Manager on site throughout your wedding day to manage every aspect of your wedding catering service. This skilled and enthusiastic individual will perform a number of duties and tasks to help ensure your day runs smoothly.

They’ll direct and supervise a team of Jenkinsons staff deployed to lay the dining tables, checking that each place-setting is perfect. Part of the Catering Manager’s unique skill-set is their attention to detail; they’ll inspect every tablecloth making sure there are pristine and check that every glass twinkles.  Any wedding favours will be handled with care.

Your Catering Manager will liaise with the wedding venue’s Event Manager and work with them to ensure the smooth service of your wedding food, whether that’s canapés during your drinks reception or the timely service of your Wedding Breakfast to all guests, once seated.

The Catering Manager is on hand to deal with any little curve-balls that may get thrown into the mix on your wedding day! Some recent examples would be; the wedding guest that forgot to mention they were vegetarian; a last minute alteration to the table plan; a glass of red wine spilt across the table requiring a quick tablecloth change!

Talented Chef

We’ll help you design a Wedding Breakfast menu that’s right for you; maybe it fits with your wedding theme or helps to tell your story. Whatever wedding food you choose, we’ll ensure that it is prepared and cooked on site by our professional and talented chefs.

Not only are our experienced team of chefs passionate about every aspect of your wedding breakfast meal; the ingredients , flavours, aromas and presentation;  they are also gifted catering chefs, cooking a meal for 100 guests is completely different to cooking in a restaurant or at home for your loved one. Our chefs have the skills and expertise to make it look easy!

Waiting-on Staff

The perfect number of waiting-on staff is also included in your wedding catering costs and ensures that the level of service experienced by you and your guests is maintained at a very high standard throughout the day.  Once we know your final numbers, what menu you have chosen and your wedding day timings, (all of which we discuss at your Personal Consultation), we’ll know how many waiting-on staff will be required to ensure the seamless service of your wedding food and drinks throughout the day.

Our waiting-on staff will be smartly dressed and well informed about what they are serving, enabling them to answer any of your guests’ queries about the food with confidence and a smile!

Glassware & Tableware

We all know that before you’ve even tasted a dish, you begin to savour it with your eyes.  A beautifully presented, visually stunning dish will go a long way to impress your guests, even before they’ve tasted how delicious it is and selecting the right tableware to showcase the dish is paramount. We’ll use our expertise to select and supply the right crockery for your wedding food, ensuring that it looks its best for you on your special day. We’ll even supply the cake stand.

At your Personal Consultation we’ll discuss what drinks you’d like to serve at your wedding so that we can supply all the appropriate glassware and ice where required. Whether you choose a classic champagne drinks reception or opt instead for Pimms, beer or mulled wine for example; we’ll make sure we supply the right glassware, we’ll even supply the fruit for summer Pimms free of charge!

Please Note – We would expect you to require champagne flutes, wine glasses and high-ball glasses for your wedding should you require alternative glassware please discuss this with us at the earliest opportunity.

Linens

As a specialist wedding caterer, we understand the importance of clean, crisp, good quality linens.  We insist on using the finest tablecloths and napkins which are included in your ‘price per head’ and supplied in pure white.
