Jenkinsons have a proven track record for excellent catering at the Southport Flower Show, in fact we have been their official caterer since 1995 and we can’t wait to welcome this year’s guests to sample some of our sensational event catering at this prestigious event.

Gala Preview Dinner

We’re looking forward to serving guests a sensational meal at the Gala Preview Dinner, a fantastic and highly entertaining black tie event. We’re serving some amazing canapés at the champagne reception held in the Grand Floral Marquee at 7.30pm, which is then followed by a three course silver service dinner in the Gala Marquee.

Retail Catering

In addition to catering for all the ticketed event dinners and luncheons throughout the Southport Flower Show, we are also delighted to provide a number of retail catering outlets most notably the Central Café where members of the public can purchase a variety of freshly made sandwiches and snacks, cakes and pastries in addition to a large selection of beverages. We’ll also be serving delicious hot carvery meals throughout the event.

We were thrilled to be asked to provide the event catering for the Breakthrough Breast Cancer Fundraising Annual Ball, held at the Staffordshire County Showground on 22nd November 2014. The event raised over £9000 for this incredible charity.

Stafford Breakthrough Ball

We were delighted when Liz Osborn Chairperson of Staffordshire Breakthrough Group approached us about providing the event catering for the Stafford Breakthrough Ball. Held at the Staffordshire County Showground in November the guests were treated to a fabulous meal, great entertainment and dancing into the night.

The event organisers wanted to wow their guests with an elegant and delicious menu, we served:

Ribbons of Smoked Salmon served on a Salad of Dressed Leaves

Roasted Leg of Pork Boned and Rolled, carved at the table.
Bowls of Baby Roast Potatoes, Stuffing, Honey Glazed Carrots, Freshly Minted Peas and  Honey Roasted Parsnips all with
Roast Gravy & Homemade Apple Sauce

Lemon Tart dusted with Icing Sugar, garnished with Fresh Berries
and served with jugs of fresh cream

A Fine British Cheeseboard, Celery, Biscuits & Grapes (donated by Jenkinsons)

Freshly Brewed Tea & Coffee

Charity Ball – Through The Looking Glass

Jenkinsons are thrilled to be the chosen caterers for Steelite International’s Teacup and Candlelight Charity Ball. Tickets are still available for this fabulous event being held on Friday 26th September 2014.

Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’ guests are cordially invited to tumble down the rabbit hole and enjoy a champagne reception followed by a sumptuous three course meal served on Steelite’s Award Winning Tableware. Their Torino collection has been chosen to showcase the main course; this fabulously retro range combines the best of both classic and modern design and we can’t wait to enhance the tableware with an exquisitely presented taste sensation.

The Charity Ball is being hosted at the Haywood Academy, one of Stoke-on-Trent’s leading high schools. The Academy’s motto is ‘Inspiring Creativity and Achievement’ which complements Steelite International’s commitment to support and encourage local youth aspirations and education.

For the second year running Steelite International have invited students from The Haywood Academy to complete work experience at their state of the art manufacturing facilities in Burslem, as part of the Industrial Cadets scheme which was inspired by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales. The scheme aims to raise awareness of local career opportunities in manufacturing and industry.

The charity ball aims to raise money for Steelite International’s ‘Giving Something Back’ community fund, helping to support more local initiatives and charities with much-needed funding.
